Linen Porter
Located on the southern shores of Lake Windermere, Lakeside Hotel & Spa is a busy, luxury hotel with 83 bedrooms, spa facilities, restaurants and conference space. We are currently looking for a reliable and hardworking Linen Porter to support our Housekeeping team.
This is an important behind-the-scenes role that helps ensure our bedrooms and public areas are always presented to the highest standards.
The Role
As Linen Porter, you will assist the housekeeping department by managing the movement and organisation of linen and supplies throughout the hotel. Your work will help the team operate efficiently and maintain excellent presentation standards for our guests.
Key Responsibilities
Delivering clean linen to housekeeping cupboards and storage areas
Collecting and transporting used linen to designated areas
Assisting with stock control of linen, towels and room supplies
Keeping linen stores clean, tidy and well organised
Supporting the housekeeping team with general duties as required
Reporting any maintenance or safety concerns

Reliable, punctual and hardworking
Comfortable with manual handling
Organised with good attention to detail
A positive team player
Flexible and willing to help where needed
Previous hotel experience is helpful but not essential — full training will be provided.
