Housekeeping Assistant
We are looking for a reliable and attentive Housekeeping Assistant to join our housekeeping team at one Grinkle Park Hotel. The successful candidate will help maintain high standards of cleanliness across guest rooms and public areas, contributing to an exceptional guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will be responsible for:
Cleaning and tidying guest rooms to company standards, including making beds, replacing linen and toiletries, Hoovering and dusting.
Maintaining cleanliness in public areas, corridors, stairwells and leisure facilities.
Reporting maintenance or safety issues promptly to the appropriate department.
Replenishing minibar items, guest amenities and stationery as required.
Managing lost property in line with hotel procedures.
Adhering to health, safety and hygiene standards at all times.
Responding to guest requests politely and efficiently to exceed expectations.
Working flexibly to cover shift patterns which may include early starts, weekends and bank holidays.
Person Specification
Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential; full training will be provided.
Good attention to detail and pride in delivering consistent standards.
Friendly, professional and approachable manner when interacting with guests and colleagues.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Punctual and reliable with a strong work ethic.
Basic level of spoken English to communicate with guests and colleagues.
Full driving licence and access to own vehicle may be required for some locations or shift patterns.
