Core Responsibilities
As a Sous Chef, you will assist in leading the kitchen team and ensure the delivery of premium quality dishes. Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting the Head Chef in menu planning and food preparation
- Maintaining high culinary standards and consistency
- Overseeing kitchen operations in the absence of the Head Chef
- Managing food safety standards and inventory
- Training and mentoring junior kitchen staff
Qualifications and Skills
We are looking for an experienced professional with:
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a hospitality environment
- Proven experience in Banqueting Kitchen
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire a team
- Excellent decision-making and problem-solving abilities
- Passion for food quality and presentation
- Commitment to sanitation, cleanliness, and environmental health standards
